Wow, it’s been a while.

So it’s been a good month and a half since I’ve last posted, and I must say, it’s been a pretty eventful month and a half. I’ll try to condense it, though. Christmas was great. We spent Christmas eve night at Jason’s mom’s house for our traditional seafood dinner. Christmas morning we got up on the early side and tore into the goodies that Santa left. Julia got SPOILED! We had another round of gift opening at my mother-in-law’s, and then a yummy ham supper. That weekend we went to my grandparents’ house in western New Jersey. I hadn’t seen them in a couple of years so it was a nice reunion, and they got to meet Julia, which was great! After that we went to my other grandparents’ house down on the Jersey coast, and spent a few days there. Two of my uncles, and my cousin Amelia were there as well.

For new year’s we went to dinner with some friend of ours, and then spent the evening at their house playing Wii, and Oo-ing and ah-ing over their 2 month old son. A snowfall forced us home before midnight though.

The day after the new year was the most shocking of all – I found out I am pregnant with our second child. The baby is due the first week of September, and we are so excited. Even Julia is happy to become a big sister!

January has been pretty uneventful. I’m still suffering from the letdown of the post-holiday season. In a couple weeks, however, will begin birthday season in my family. Between the end of January to the end of April there are about a dozen birthdays to contend with. I, myself, will be turning 26 at the end of the month. I can’t believe I’m going to be 26. It feels like I just turned 10, heh.

Well, that’s really all for now. I have a thirsty 2 year old begging for a drink!

Welcome back! Thought you had traded this in for Facebook, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
